Door knocking in the Ward

This week, my team and I have been knocking on doors in Munster, North Gower, and some rural side streets to find out what concerns and issues residents may have. It's been great to speak to so many residents. While we didn't get to as many houses as we would've liked given the extreme heat, our efforts to visit all the Ward villages will continue in the weeks to come.

Some of the top concerns we heard included road resurfacing, speeding, truck traffic and tree clearing. It was great to meet so many residents at their doors and introduce my team to the community. Everyone in my office works hard to support residents throughout our Ward and it was heartening to hear from the many residents who have received assistance from the team. If you need help with municipal concerns, escalating your 3-1-1 cases, sharing your community events, or navigating City processes, please reach out to our office. We are always happy to help.

New Bench
A bench has been installed under the 2022 OAP bench program along Chapel Crescent. The bench program aims to assist older adults in maintaining their independence by installing rest points in the right-of-way between their place of living and amenities.
