🎉 Join Us for the Riverwalk Block Party & BBQ Fundraiser this Friday!

Dear Neighbors and Friends,

We’re thrilled to invite you to the Riverwalk Community Block Party & BBQ Fundraiser happening this Friday, August 23rd, from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM on lower Artemis Circle in Manotick. It’s going to be a fun-filled evening, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Here’s what we have lined up for the night:

🍔 BBQ Fundraiser:

· 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Grab a delicious BBQ Hamburger (or Hot Dog) with Drink & Chips for $5.00. Thirsty? We’ll have Spring Water and Flavoured Waters available for $2.00. The Kitchen closes at 7 pm.

🎶 Opening Act - Charlotte Loeppky:

· 6:45 PM - 7:00 PM
Back by popular demand from Calgary, is Charlotte Loeppky who will kick off the evening with a special Canadiana acoustic set. Don’t miss this performance!

🎶 The Chesterfields Concert (First Set):

· 7:15 PM - 8:00 PM
Sit back and enjoy live music from The Chesterfields as they bring their incredible sounds to our neighborhood.

💃 Zumba Class with Lesley Peace Fitness:

· 8:00 PM - 8:15 PM
Get moving with a fun and energetic Zumba class led by Lesley Peace Fitness! Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a beginner, this class is for everyone.

🎶 The Chesterfields Concert (Second Set):

· 8:15 PM - 9:00 PM
The Chesterfields return to the stage for another set of great music to close out the evening.

Important Reminders:

· Alcohol-Free Event: Please remember that this is an alcohol-free event, so let’s all enjoy the night responsibly.

· Street Closure: Lower Artemis Circle below Bowstring will be closed from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Please plan accordingly.

· Parking: Parking for friends is available along Artemis Circle above Bowstring and along Kelly Marie, with walk-in access to the event.

· Volunteer Needed: We’re still looking for one more volunteer to assist with security at the barricades. If you’re available, we would greatly appreciate your help!

💸 Support a Great Cause:
Remember to bring $5 for dinner and $5 for the 50/50 draw. All proceeds will support our charity, Rural Ottawa South Support Services. We encourage you to bring cash, but we will also accept credit cards for the BBQ Fundraiser.
