2024 was an outstanding year for Ottawa Rideau Valley Probus Club!  Our focus is to foster a vibrant community of fellowship, friendship and fun for our members, who are retired or semi-retired and are interested living their lives to the fullest.  Each month throughout the year we provide interesting speakers, exciting events, and healthy activities, meeting new friends and enjoying continuous learning.

Our 30th Anniversary and annual Holiday Celebration was held at Cedarhill Golf Course in December. We welcomed a record 100 attendees, and were delighted when Regional Director of Probus Canada Craig Greenwood members honoured Joy and Gary Bennet for their many years of service with a special citation,  Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal, socializing with fellow members, and an inspiring tale of Canada’s CBC Radio history by speaker Lawrence Wall.
