The MCPRA are pleased to announce that Chic Time in the 'Tick will be hosting our annual fundraising event May 23rd! 

Chic Time in the ‘Tick is an annual fundraising event that raises money to better the Manotick community. This year's theme is Bond Girls Are Forever.  

This is an event for women by women where 300 women will come together in the Manotick Curling Club to dine and dance the night away while bidding on amazing silent and live auction items. A little history...

From 2017 to 2019, this event raised over $65,000.00 for the Mahogany Dock project. Unfortunately, the event had been on hold for three years due to the pandemic and we were excited to launch the event once more in 2024. Did you know that there are several access points for launching kayaks and swimming? At this time, these locations are difficult to find and some are difficult to navigate making them unsafe. We plan to continue to  fundraise to improve visibility and accessibility of the water access points.
